Seek the peace and prosperity of the city...
   - Jeremiah 29:7

We think about serving the city in 2 different ways, informally and formally.

Informally: Our hope is that each person discovers that God has wired them to participate in his mission and this often happens in our places of work, schools, neighborhoods and over a cup of coffee. As everyday missionaries we can address the deep needs of our neighbors which are both spiritual and physical.

Formally: We have begun partnering with strategic local ministries because there is no need to reinvent the wheel. We believe that God has already been at work long before we arrived in this city, so we simply want to join in.

One strategic ministry partner is Vigilant Hope and specifically Jason Mitchell who is an Urban Missionary.

Vigilant Hope is a modern missions organization with a desire to reach and serve those in need and to challenge you to do the same! We exist to educate and equip the Body of Christ to reach into the community with the hope of the gospel through urban outreach, relief ministry and educational programs.
